After doing a tour of a few European countries, this Brit decided to relocate to Sweden, taking his computer consulting firm with him. But the drawback with having your own company is the lack of human contact, something Alistair started missing - especially being in a new country. That's how he ended up with us here at Lavasoft. He is now an integral part of the GUI (Graphical User Interface) team, where he develops the interface of the Lavasoft programs.

Alistair's computer interest started when he got a Commodore 64 as a Christmas present. From that moment he was hooked. He quickly learned the language and started composing music using the built-in sound chip (SID) - something he still enjoys doing.

Outside of Lavasoft, Alistair enjoys being a radio DJ and teaching listeners about Mastering Swedish on his Internet radio show.

"My primary function is to develop and maintain the "customer experience" when using Lavasoft products - making the interface easy to use and comprehensive.

I'm also developing and maintaining the Licensing Server that will enable the customer support team to give our customers a more personalized experience.

Spyware is the fastest-growing form of computer abuse out there at the moment, and it feels great that I'm directly helping millions of users to protect themselves against this harmful and unwanted intrusion to their online privacy.

I am proud to be a Lavasoftie and happy to be an honorary Swede."
